Divine magic is normally gained through prayer, meditation, and/or sacrifice, often associated as well with holy symbols or sites. However, while much
of this is done in the form of an internal dialogue with one's god or their minion(s), it is not necessarily an act that comes naturally to a would-be
priest or member of the clergy. Rare is the self-taught priest, particularly one of any great power.
Thus, most gods have their priests train likely and eager candidates. Both the selection process and the method of training varies widely from priesthood
to priesthood, but all involve a lengthy period of service and practice.
